The security forces carried out two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 13 militants.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), five militants were killed during an intelligence-led operation in Kurram district. In a second major operation in Bannu district, security forces killed eight militants.
The ISPR said that clearance operations remain under way in both areas due to the possible presence of remaining elements.
Moreover, the security forces remain determined to eliminate terrorism from the country.
