The Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP) has declined to attend the National Dialogue Committee’s conference, saying that the gathering holds no value without the participation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
According to details, the TTAP confirmed that an invitation to the conference had been received. The TTAP spokesperson said that the PTI has already disassociated itself from its former leaders.
The statement said the absence of trust from the most important stakeholder, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, renders the conference meaningless. For this reason, it added, participation by the TTAP is not possible.
The National Dialogue Committee has announced a national conference in Islamabad on 7 January.
