Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar has urged for a national dialogue aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s political and economic stability, stressing that progress is impossible amid instability.
Speaking at the anniversary of Khawaja Rafique, Azam Nazir Tarar highlighted that dialogue is essential not for any political party or individual, but for the nation as a whole. He said, “No nation can move forward with political and economic instability.”
The minister called for fostering tolerance and responding to criticism positively, underlining the importance of inclusive discussions in the political process.
Learning from history, sacrifices
Tarar also reflected on the significance of commemorative events, noting that they connect people with the nation’s past and the sacrifices of key figures. He mentioned that these personalities took loans and made contributions beyond obligation, serving as examples of dedication to the country.
The Federal Law Minister stressed that politics is a continuous process that requires listening to opponents and rejecting extremism and violence. He urged citizens and leaders alike to embrace dialogue, act with patience, and ensure constructive engagement in political affairs.
