An inquiry has begun into the ban imposed on Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem’s coach, Salman Butt.
The Pakistan Sports Board’s adjudicator has summoned the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) for a hearing.
Coach Salman Butt and javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem have also been called to appear on 3 November. The federal government had taken notice of the ban imposed by the AFP.
Coach Salman Butt had described the decision as biased.
