Increased hydel generation helped the national exchequer save Rs106 billion
Diamer Basha Dam project: River diversion through test runThe Water and Power Division Authority (WAPDA) on Friday said that the outgoing year 2023 has been a satisfying year for WAPDA hydel generation and its under-construction projects.
WAPDA generated 34 billion units of hydel electricity; 2.2 billion more than last year.
This increased hydel generation helped the national exchequer save Rs106 billion.
