Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani telephoned Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and congratulated him on the Makkah agreement, while expressing a desire to visit Pakistan soon.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the two leaders discussed important regional and bilateral matters during the telephone call.
Dar welcomed Al Zayani’s good wishes and his desire to visit Pakistan. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to resolving regional issues through dialogue and diplomacy to promote peace and stability in the region.
Pakistan, Senegal vow to bolster bilateral ties
Separately, Dar spoke by telephone with his Senegalese counterpart, Cheikh Niang. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and international issues.
They agreed to strengthen bilateral ties and increase cooperation and coordination at multilateral forums, particularly the United Nations.
Ishaq Dar, Indonesian FM discuss regional situation
Dar held a telephone conversation with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono on Tuesday.
The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional and international developments, including the changing situation concerning US–Iran engagements.
Sugiono praised Pakistan’s constructive and important role in promoting dialogue and supporting efforts for peace and stability.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in key priority areas and stressed the importance of maintaining close contacts.
