10 newly appointed Additional Judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC) took oath on Tuesday.
LHC Chief Justice Aalia Neelum administered the oath to the new judges at a ceremony in Lahore. The judges who took oath included Justice Farhad Ali Shah, Justice Amjad Pervaiz, Justice Usman Ghani Rashid and Justice Asad Bajwa.
Justice Khalid bin Aziz, Justice Shireen Imran and Justice Ameer Ajam Malik also took oath.
Justice Ghulam Sarwar Nahang, Justice Munawar Iqbal Dogar and Justice Ajmal Khan Zahid were among the other judges who took oath.
Prosecutor General Punjab Irfan Sadiq Tarar, the Punjab advocate general and family members of the judges attended the oath-taking ceremony.
BHC holds oath-taking ceremony for three new additional judges
Meanwhile, Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Malakhail administered the oath to three newly appointed Additional Judges on Tuesday.
The judges who took the oath were Muhammad Rauf, Allah Dad Roshan and Abdul Qayyum Lehri.
The BHC's judges, the advocate general, judicial officers, office-bearers of lawyers’ bodies, senior lawyers and others attended the ceremony.
