The National Database and Registration Authority's (Nadra) report revealed for identification of suspects involved in the May 9 Radio Pakistan attack case.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, the Nadra confirmed the suspects through its Facial Recognition System (FRS). After confirmation by the Punjab Forensic Laboratory, Nadra's report also surfaced in the Radio Pakistan attack case. According to the report, five folders were received in a USB for verification. These were checked through FRS.
The folders received by the Nadra contained the names of Aamir Chamkani, Irfan Saleem, Kamran, Sohail Afridi and Taimur Jhagra. Profile pictures were also included with the received folders.
Through the FRS system, the faces of all provided individuals were possibly matched with their identity card numbers.
Ground realities must be verified. The received USB will be returned.
