Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the fields of energy and minerals.
Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, during which matters of mutual interest were discussed. Ali Pervaiz Malik congratulated the Saudi envoy on the successful organization of the Future Minerals Forum.
He said that the Future Minerals Forum, held in Riyadh, provided an important platform for expanding energy cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The federal minister emphasized that the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will translate into tangible outcomes in the form of investment, technology transfer, and joint ventures.
The Saudi ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s active participation in the Future Minerals Forum and stated that continuous engagement between the two countries is vital for enhancing cooperation in the minerals sector.
