Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE) have expressed their resolve to further bolster bilateral ties between the two countries.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, President Asif Ali Zardari is on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he met UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as matters of mutual interest. Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto were also present.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also serves as Vice President of the United Arab Emirates.
Both sides discussed expanding cooperation in economic, trade and investment sectors. The meeting, held at Zabeel Palace, also covered ways to further strengthen bilateral ties.
Discussions included cooperation in ports, logistics, infrastructure, food security, information technology and technology sectors.
President Zardari praised Dubai’s role as a global centre for tourism, economy and technology. He briefed the UAE leadership on Pakistan’s ongoing economic reforms, investment facilitation measures and privatisation process.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the brotherly relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. President Zardari invited Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to visit Pakistan.
Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also attended the meeting.
