Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended Myanmar for its cooperation in tackling human trafficking.
During a meeting with Myanmar’s Foreign Minister, Than Swe, on Tuesday, the prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen long-standing bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation in trade, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

Foreign Minister Than Swe conveyed goodwill messages from Myanmar’s leadership and expressed a desire to deepen relations in areas of mutual interest.
Thanks were also extended to PM Shehbaz for Pakistan's timely assistance following the devastating earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025.
