The Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said on Thursday that Multan received the highest rainfall, with 19 millimetres recorded, while 13 millimetres were recorded at the airport.
According to details, the PDMA reported that rainfall was recorded in various districts of Punjab during the past 24 hours. In Joharabad, 11mm of rain was recorded; in Nurpur Thal, 9mm; in Murree, 8mm; and in Sargodha and Chakwal, 7mm each. Light to moderate rain was recorded in different areas of Lahore, with a maximum of 6mm.
Hail was also recorded in several areas of Lahore, the Punjab PDMA said. In Rawalpindi, 5mm was recorded at Kacheri, 4mm at Shamsabad and 3mm at Peeru Dhai.
Rainfall was also recorded in Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Jhang and Layyah, the Punjab PDMA said. Light rain of 1 to 3mm was recorded in several districts, the PDMA Punjab added.
