Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that following Pakistan’s recent successes in war against India, the demand for the country’s fighter jets has increased globally.
Addressing the federal cabinet session, he said several countries are now in discussions with Pakistan for aircraft deals.
PM emphasized that law enforcement agencies are actively conducting operations against terrorism and expressed confidence that Pakistan will achieve lasting success in the fight against terrorism, ensuring its complete eradication.
On the economic front, he announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Liberty Financial for digital payments, stating that the agreement will strengthen Pakistan’s economy and bring stability.
“The MoU with World Liberty Financial is a positive step; it will promote economic stability and allow us to focus on development. Pakistan is moving forward on the path of progress and prosperity,” he said.
The PM also updated on infrastructure and education projects, noting that work has begun on a major road in Quetta costing Rs40 billion. Additionally, the Daanish School initiative has started in Balochistan, and one hundred thousand laptops are being distributed to students as part of the development program.
