Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Senator Pervaiz Rasheed said on Tuesday that the political leadership will decide to table the 27th constitutional amendment.
Expressing his thoughts, Rasheed said: "The parliamentary parties need to use the parliamentary force on any proposal or amendment. There will be no threat to the system with the tabling of the 27th constitutional amendment."
He made it clear that PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has been taken into confidence in line with the decision of tabling the 27th constitutional amendment.
"The amendments should be done if needed for bringing the stability and uplifting the country's economy," Rasheed said.
"The political parties consult Nawaz Sharif to uphold the principles of the charter of democracy," Rasheed added.
