Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi said on Sunday that he boosted the confidence of opener Saim Ayub in a telephonic conversation ahead of the Asia Cup final against India at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme "Zor Ka Jor", Afridi said: "Today's performance will be remembered for years."
Meanwhile, former Pakistan batter Mohammad Yousuf said: "Pakistan should win the Asia Cup title and dedicate the victory to the Pakistan Air Force."
