Advisories have been issued to all departments of the Cabinet Division regarding potential Indian cyber attacks.
The alerts warn of a phishing campaign allegedly linked to the Indian threat actor SideWinder, which has been active in Pakistan for several years.

According to the details, the cyber attacks specifically targeted Pakistani officials using phishing emails. The attackers used the name of the cybersecurity directorate of sensitive institutions to deceive recipients.

The advisories stated that employees of various institutions have been trained to counter phishing and social engineering attempts as part of ongoing cybersecurity efforts.
