Former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz said on Saturday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is a ray of hope for 240 million people in the country.

In his special message ahead of the public gathering of the PML-N, Hamza Shehbaz said: ‘’The PML-N workers and masses from the grassroots level will welcome Nawaz Sharif with great verve.’’

The people of Lahore will prove today that Nawaz Sharif is the heart of not only Punjab but entire Pakistan.

– Shehbaz Sharif heaps praise on Nawaz Sharif –

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif today praised former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in connection with his return to the country after four years in exile.

Taking to X, Shehbaz Sharif said, ‘’ My leader, Nawaz Sharif, will be among you today, InshaAllah. He is coming back to unite this nation, not to divide it further’’.

He said, ‘’He is coming back to spread love among his people, not hatred. He is coming back to help you become a productive citizen, not as ammunition for any party or group. He is coming back to put Pakistan back on track’’.

Earlier, in her message, PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz said: "I am grateful to Allah Almighty. The pains and sufferings that Nawaz Sharif has endured in the last 24 years are hardly comparable to anything. There are some wounds that will never heal. But whatever rise Nawaz Sharif has seen, no one will ever be able to achieve. Today, Pakistan is going to see another rise of Nawaz Sharif, God willing!"
