Model and actress Nadia Hussain’s husband Atif Khan was presented before the Judicial Magistrate South in Karachi over allegations of embezzling millions of rupees on Monday.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) requested an 11-day physical remand of the accused.
The court extended his remand for five days. The court has also directed the investigation officer to submit a progress report in the next hearing.
According to the FIA, Atif Khan is involved in a fraud case of over Rs 540 million.
The investigating officer (IO) informed the court that more individuals connected to the fraud must be arrested.
