The funeral prayers of veteran actor Nisar Qadri were offered in Rawalpindi on Monday.
Prominent among those who attended the funeral prayers of the noted actor were Agha Qaiser and Anjum Haseebi.
He had left behind a wife and three children. His funeral prayers will be offered tomorrow in Rawalpindi.
In 2016, Qadri was awarded the President’s Pride of Performance for showing brilliant acting prowess. He had played memorable characters in the many plays on Pakistan Television (PTV).
Having initiated his acting journey with the Pakistan Television's (PTV) drama serial "Deewarein" in 1966, Qadri had since portrayed diverse characters on TV, in films, theatre, and radio dramas.
However, due to health concerns, he took a hiatus from new drama roles for several years.
