Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has said he misses his Indian fans, recalling his memories of working in Bollywood and thanking audiences across the border for their continued support.
In a recent interview, the singer spoke about his upcoming music project, ‘Borderless Music’, which he said will bring together young and senior artists, musicians, songwriters and legends from the industry.
“I am working on a new project called ‘Borderless Music’,” Atif said, adding that audiences can expect a lot of new music from the project.
‘I have always missed you guys’
Addressing his Indian fans, Atif said they should not feel sad or upset because of the restrictions on Pakistani artists working in India.

“I want to tell all my Indian fans not to feel sad or bad because of the ban. Just know that I have always missed you guys,” he said.
The singer clarified that while he does not necessarily miss working in India, he does miss the fans and the connection he developed with them through his music.
“I don't miss working there, but I definitely miss you guys,” Atif said.
Atif credits playback singing
The singer also reflected on how his Bollywood experience shaped his musical journey.
According to Atif, playback singing taught him a great deal and eventually encouraged him to explore creating music of his own.
He suggested that without the restrictions on Pakistani artists, he might not have moved in the same direction creatively.
Atif also expressed appreciation for his Indian audience, saying they continued to stand by him despite the circumstances.
The singer has previously enjoyed widespread popularity in India through songs featured in Bollywood films, building a large fan base across the country.
