The opposition alliance’s sit-in at the Parliament House premises has entered its fourth consecutive day, with protesting lawmakers demanding transparency regarding the PTI founder’s medical condition.
Members participating in the demonstration say they are waiting for the new medical report to be submitted to the Supreme Court before deciding their next course of action.
Opposition members gathered at Parliament House say the sit-in will continue until clarity is provided about Imran Khan's health. Their key demand is that Imran Khan's personal doctors be granted immediate access for an independent medical examination.
Protesters insist that public confidence can only be restored once the personal medical team evaluates his condition.
Raja demands access for Dr. Asim Yousuf
In a conversation with Samaa TV, PTI Central Secretary General Salman Akram Raja stressed that access for Imran Khan's personal doctor is their main demand. He said the nation would only be satisfied if Dr. Asim Yousuf personally examines the PTI founder.
According to Raja, Dr. Asim Yousuf has already visited Adiala Jail five times in the past, and therefore permission should now be granted for another meeting.

“Dr. Asim Yousuf should be allowed to meet him. This is our primary demand,” he stated.
Allama Nasir Abbas sets conditions
Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Allama Raja Nasir Abbas also spoke to Samaa TV and outlined conditions for ending the sit-in. He demanded a clear response regarding PTI Founder Imran Khan’s treatment and reiterated that a personal doctor must be allowed to meet him.
“The founder should be allowed to meet individuals in whom the public has confidence,” he said.
Allama Nasir questioned how the sit-in could end without satisfaction over the treatment being provided, adding that whatever is necessary must be done for the treatment of Imran Khan's eye.
Two sit-ins end, one continues
While the main sit-in at Parliament House continues under the leadership of Mahmood Khan Achakzai, two out of three protest sites in the opposition’s red zone have been called off. The sit-in at Parliament Lodges has ended, with opposition leaders and members of the Punjab Assembly leaving the protest site.

Similarly, the sit-in outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House has also concluded. All routes to and from the red zone and Parliament House have now been reopened, and traffic has been fully restored.
Despite the reopening of roads and the end of parallel protests, the ongoing sit-in at Parliament House signals continued political tension.
Opposition leaders maintain that the protest will not conclude until they are satisfied with the medical transparency and treatment of the PTI founder.
