Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Saturday that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is making consistent efforts to improve the environment across the province.
She said Maryam Nawaz has a clear vision to develop Punjab in line with international standards. Practical steps are being taken to improve air quality throughout the province.
Marriyum maintained: "The Punjab chief minister is taking difficult decisions for the welfare of the public. Special measures have been introduced to address the issue of smog."
"For the first time, all stakeholders have been taken on board to deal with environmental challenges," she added.

Separately, few days back, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has made the use of artificial intelligence mandatory in Punjab’s schools, calling AI essential for modern policymaking and reforms.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that AI will now be compulsory in Punjab schools, marking a first in the province’s education system. She said digital technology has the power to change how institutions think and work, adding that responsible AI use can bring lasting positive change.
