In a major anti-terror operation near Chapri Dam, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) successfully neutralized six dangerous terrorists.
The CTD spokesperson confirmed that the operation aimed to arrest the terrorists, but they opened fire on the security team. During the exchange, six terrorists were fatally hit by bullets from their own group, marking a significant blow to the criminal network in the area.
Authorities recovered a large cache of weapons and explosives from the slain terrorists, including a suicide jacket, three grenades, three submachine guns, and around 200 bullets.
Escapees and ongoing security efforts
Eight terrorists managed to flee the scene during the raid. Relevant agencies are conducting intensive search operations to apprehend the remaining fugitives and ensure the safety of the local population.
Special teams have been deployed to track the escapees, reinforcing CTD’s commitment to restoring law and order in the region.

The spokesperson emphasized that this operation is part of ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorist presence and maintain security. Identification of the deceased terrorists is currently underway.
President Asif Ali Zardari has also paid tribute to the CTD for their effective counter-terrorism measures in other operations across Balochistan, highlighting the importance of such initiatives nationwide.
