There has been a significant development regarding the introduction of 5G services in Pakistan.
According to the PTA spokesperson, the auction of the 5G spectrum will be held on 10 March. The final schedule was decided after extensive consultation with the relevant parties. The purpose of holding the auction on 10 March is to ensure a transparent process and encourage full participation.
The statement added that the approved timeline will give telecom operators and potential bidders adequate time to prepare, adding that the PTA is committed to maximising participation in the auction.
