US Charge d’Affaires Natalie Baker met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and emphasized Pakistan’s continued engagement in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond.
The meeting also highlighted growing bilateral cooperation and investment prospects between the two countries.
According to a statement shared by the Foreign Office on X (formerly Twitter), the meeting covered regional and international developments, with both sides reaffirming the importance of stability in the Middle East.

Natalie Baker stressed that Pakistan’s diplomatic role remains vital in advancing peace and fostering dialogue in the region amid ongoing tensions.
Strengthening Pakistan–US relations
The US envoy expressed satisfaction over recent positive developments in Pakistan–US relations, citing high-level interactions in New York and Washington DC as indicators of growing mutual confidence.
Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining strong bilateral ties with the United States, emphasizing the importance of collaboration across political, economic, and security domains.
During the meeting, Natalie Baker also expressed the United States’ interest in investment opportunities in Pakistan’s energy, precious minerals, and IT sectors.
Dar welcomed this interest, noting that Pakistan is keen to attract more foreign investment to support sustainable economic growth and technology-driven development.
