Hollywood's celebrities have joined forces to call for an end to the escalating violence in the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in significant Palestinian casualties due to Israeli airstrikes.
A letter titled 'Artists 4 Ceasefire,' signed by numerous singers, actors, comedians, and prominent figures from Hollywood, implored the Biden administration to promptly advocate for and assist in achieving a ceasefire, putting an end to the airstrikes in Gaza.
The letter stated, "Half of Gaza's population, which numbers two million, consists of children, and over two-thirds are refugees and their offspring who have been compelled to leave their homes. It is imperative that humanitarian aid be permitted to reach them."
The letter further noted, "At the time of writing, over the past 12 days, more than 6,000 bombs have been deployed in Gaza, resulting in the tragic loss of one child's life every 15 minutes."
