A violent tribal dispute reached a government high school in Bori village, leaving three people dead and two others injured after armed men stormed the school premises in search of a teacher involved in a land dispute.
According to police, the attackers entered the Government High School in Bori, where they physically assaulted teachers and fired shots into the air, causing panic in the area. Residents rushed to the school in an attempt to assist the teachers.
During the confrontation, two residents were shot dead by the gunmen, while one of the attackers was also killed. A student and another person sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to Sukkur in critical condition.
The police confirmed that the area had been cordoned off to locate and arrest the suspects. The incident is linked to an ongoing land dispute between two groups, which had previously remained confined to the nearby slums.
