The Anti-Terrorism Court in Mardan is set to continue hearings on the May 9 case. In a recent development, 254 individuals were discharged from the case due to insufficient evidence. Among those acquitted are PTI leaders Atif Khan and MPA Tariq Aryani.
However, the court has decided to proceed with the case against 69 PTI workers, including Food Minister Zahir Shah Toro, MPA Abdul Salam, and Iftikhar Mashwani.
ATC rules seven individuals innocent in Jinnah House attack case
In the ongoing case regarding the Jinnah House arson and vandalism, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has declared seven individuals, including Rizwan, Asma Mumtaz, and Mazamil, innocent.
The JIT presented its investigative report in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), stating that the seven individuals were found to be innocent during the investigation.
Based on the JIT's findings, the court annulled the interim bail of the seven individuals.
The hearing on the interim bails was conducted by ATC Judge Manzoor Ali Gill.
