The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported on Friday that the country's weekly inflation fell by 0.45%.
Prices of 21 items remained unchanged
Meanwhile, the PBS has said the prices of several essential items increased during the week. The PBS has said the prices of 22 essential items increased, while eight became cheaper. The prices of 21 items remained unchanged during the week.
Prices of potatoes, chicken go up
The potatoes became 4% more expensive, while chicken prices rose 3.70%. Onion prices increased by 354%. The wheat flour prices rose by up to 1.61%. Eggs, beef, pulses and milk were also among the items that became more expensive.
The PBS has said tomato prices fell by up to 23% during the week. LPG became 15.12% cheaper. Prices of petrol, diesel, moong dal, masoor dal and sugar also declined.
