Trent Rockets have signed former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir as a replacement for Gloucestershire bowler David Payne in the edition of The Hundred.
Amir ready to utilise experience as local cricketer
Amir is set to begin his first campaign as a qualified British citizen. Although he has extensive experience in English county cricket and The Hundred, this will be his first appearance in the competition as a domestic player.
The former Pakistan pacer has previously represented Oval Invincibles in The Hundred.
After receiving British citizenship, Amir is now eligible to play as a domestic player in English cricket.
