The criminal records of three prominent underworld figures, Khawaja Aqeel alias Gogi Butt, Khawaja Tareef alias Teefi Butt, and Qaiser Butt, have come to light, revealing a long history of serious offences, including terrorism, murder, and robbery.
According to police records, 24 cases are registered against Khawaja Aqeel, commonly known as Gogi Butt, in various police stations across Lahore. These cases involve grave offences, including terrorism, robbery, murder, and kidnapping.
The first case against Gogi Butt dates back to 1985, when he was charged with robbery. The last case, registered at Ichhra police station, accuses him of plotting the murder of sub-inspector Shakeel Butt.

Teefi Butt is implicated in four major cases. Police records reveal that Teefi Butt is wanted in connection with the murder of Ameer Balaj in a case registered at the Chuhng police station.
Another notorious name involved in Lahore's gang war, Qaiser Butt, is booked in eight cases across different police stations. His record includes charges of terrorism, murder, and robbery. Qaiser Butt has also been named in the murder of Teefi Butt's brother-in-law, Javed Butt.
Back in September, Ameer Musab, the brother of slain Ameer Balaj Tipu, released a video statement appealing to the Lahore capital city police officer for justice. Ameer Musab alleged that Teefi Butt and Gogi Butt were conspiring to kill him and his younger brother. He also alleged the involvement of a Punjab Police DSP in this plot.

In the recording, he said the purpose of the video was to outline the long history of violence against his family. He claimed his family had been suffering for the past 30 years, with multiple family members falling victim to targeted killings. Musab said Teefi Butt got his grandfather killed through proclaimed offenders. In 2010, he said, his father was murdered, followed by the killing of his brother, Ameer Balaj, in 2024.
"My family has been enduring these tragedies for decades, and we can no longer bear any more losses," Musab said. He asked the security institutions where the suspects were who were behind all these killings. "Gogi and Teefi Butt are involved in the murder of my grandfather, father and brother," Ameer Musab alleged.
"My family cannot bear any more losses," the youngster remarked, adding that the people he named were constantly planning to harm him and his family. He urged the authorities to arrest Teefi and Gogi Butt as soon as possible.
