Compared to yesterday, when it was sold for Rs 239,800 a tola, 24 carat gold price Rs 700 declined per tola today.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs 600 to Rs 204,990 from Rs 205,590, while the price of 10 kilos of 22 carat gold decreased by Rs 1,907 to Rs 187,907 from Rs 188,457.
Ten grams of silver and one tola of silver both closed at Rs 2,900, unchanged.
According to the association, the price of gold dropped by $5 from $1,945 to $1,940 in the international market.
