Interim minister Gohar Ejaz said on Tuesday that the government was considering no proposals to suspend internet services during the forthcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.
Expressing his thoughts, Ejaz said, "The Army and other security institutions have been geared up to provide protection to the masses during the elections."
He discussed the political landscape in Sindh, saying, "There exists no such situation in Sindh that can lead to political enmity. No one can sabotage the election process."
The minister urged the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to cast their votes without any worries.

Few days back, Ejaz announced that the general elections in the country, scheduled for February 8, will not be delayed and proceed as per plan.
He further said that security would be provided for the elections across the country.
The meeting, presided over by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, reviewed the security situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“No one should have any doubts about the elections,” the interior minister said, stressing that the polls would be held on February 8.
