Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar took a swipe at the Pakistan People Party (PPP) on Tuesday over the city’s water challenge.
Expressing his thoughts in Karachi, Sattar asserted: “The efforts underway to create the obstacles in MQM-P’s election campaign.’’
''However, the MQM-P will lock horns with the opponents by embracing peace in its election campaign,’’ he said.
Sattar maintained: ‘’The PPP had control of the Water Board for 15 years, but still the city faced water challenges.’’

Few days back, MQM-P leader Khawaja Izhar fired a fresh broadside at the Pakistan Peoples Party on Saturday.
Expressing his thoughts in Karachi, Izhar said, ‘’The PPP had deliberately harmed Karachi in 15 years of its rule. Nobody had ever spoken about Karachi.’’
Izhar said: ‘’Whenever the election comes around the corner, all the political parties start to talk about the problems of Karachi’’.
