Overseas Pakistanis remitted $3.5 billion in June 2026, taking total workers' remittances to a record $41.6 billion during fiscal year 2026, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.
According to the SBP, workers' remittances amounted to $3.5 billion in June 2026, marking a 2% increase compared with June 2025.
However, remittance inflows declined 18.3% month-on-month from May 2026.
FY2026 remittances rise
The central bank said overseas Pakistanis sent a total of $41.6 billion during FY2026, compared with $38.3 billion in FY2025.
The annual inflows increased 8.6%, reflecting continued support from Pakistanis working abroad.
Top source countries
The largest share of remittances in June came from:
- Saudi Arabia: $829.6 million
- United Arab Emirates: $792.2 million
- United Kingdom: $514.9 million
- United States: $296.8 million
