British-Pakistani physician Dr Azqa Sohail has been crowned Miss Supranational Pakistan 2026 and will represent the country at the Miss Supranational 2026 pageant, scheduled to take place in Poland later this year.
The international competition is considered one of the world's most prestigious beauty pageants, bringing together contestants from across the globe to promote their countries, cultures and social causes.
Dr Sohail said she hopes to use the platform to highlight Pakistan's cultural heritage while advocating for women's empowerment and greater opportunities for women on the international stage.
Currently based in the United Kingdom, Dr Sohail has established herself as a medical doctor and aesthetic practitioner. Alongside her medical career, she has remained actively involved in initiatives supporting women and girls.
According to Dr Sohail, her passion for women's empowerment stems from her mother's inspiring journey from Malakwal to becoming a college principal in the United Kingdom. She says her mother's achievements continue to motivate her to promote resilience, education and equal opportunities for women.
