Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has returned to the country after completing visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye.
According to details surfaced on Saturday, the prime minister arrived in Lahore, where strict security arrangements were in place on his arrival.
He departed from Antalya after concluding his three-nation tour. At Antalya Airport, senior Turkish officials and Pakistan’s ambassador to Türkiye saw him off.
During the three-day visit, the prime minister held meetings with the leadership of the three brotherly countries and also met other global leaders attending the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF).
Discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral relations, Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region, and the wider regional and global situation.
The delegation accompanying the prime minister included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi, and spokesperson for foreign media Mushahid Zaidi.
