Public holiday declared in Sindh on March 11 for Youm-e-Ali

Authorities announced a public holiday across all educational institutions in Sindh on 11 March 2026 to mark Youm-e-Ali.

According to the notification, all schools and colleges in Sindh will remain closed on 21 Ramadan. No announcement has been made regarding holidays in educational institutions of Punjab.

Meanwhile, federal government educational institutions have been notified of spring vacations. The notification states that these institutions will remain closed from 24 March to 27 March.

Federal government educational institutions will reopen on March 30. Officials said that the spring vacation in federal institutions has been aligned with Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
