Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on Thursday that aside from party founder Imran Khan, all else in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is meaningless.
In a message on X (formerly Twitter), Khawaja Asif wrote that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would act as a release force for PTI founder Imran Khan but would remain silent against terrorists and abstain from attending the funerals of martyrs.
Asif said that daily police casualties occur and people are being burnt alive, yet PTI founder Imran Khan remains the first and last priority, while everything else is meaningless and untimely.
The defence minister said that thousands of differences exist within all PTI groups, but there is complete agreement on one matter – Imran Khan must remain behind the bars.
