China has advanced rapidly in the field of robotics, and a company has now developed humanoid robots skilled in martial arts.
A video released by the company shows these robots practising kung fu with full coordination and precision. The demonstration took place at China’s renowned Shaolin Temple.
According to the company, these robots, equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, excel in traditional martial arts. They were developed by the company Aigi Bot and exhibit human-like balance and speed.
The video emerged in the first ten days of February and has since gone viral on social media. This is not the first remarkable performance by robots in China.
In March 2025, a Shanghai-based company introduced robots capable of riding bicycles like humans. In May 2025, the same company released another video showing robots performing gymnastics.
The kung fu robots, named Lingxi X2, are equipped with the AI model Go To 1. This technology enables the robots to move in harmony, while also allowing them to learn, plan, and perform various tasks.
