Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur said on Monday that Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi made greater efforts for the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan than anyone else.
Speaking on Samaa TV programme ‘Nadeem Malik Live’, Gandapur said Naqvi even raised the matter before the Field Marshal for Imran's release. He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had completely failed and that party leaders were placing the blame on one another. He added that no one within the party possessed the authority to take decisions.
Gandapur said there were ill-intentioned individuals among them. He expressed the hope that Imran Khan’s health was as reported, but added that he did not trust the information circulating about his condition.
He said the focus had shifted from Imran Khan’s release to his health, and maintained that they were responsible for the situation. He said that their sit-in would not secure the Imran Khan’s release.
