Islamabad authorities have made registration with the district administration mandatory for setting up Ramazan iftar arrangements.
So far, a total of 18 applications have been received from across the city. During the holy month of Ramazan, iftar arrangements are set up on various main roads. This year in Islamabad, registration with the district administration has been made compulsory for those wishing to arrange iftar. According to a spokesperson, interested persons can submit their applications with complete details.
The district administration will ensure the provision of facilities including site allocation and security. Applicants can submit their identification documents along with details of the location.
Permission will be granted after site inspections by the Assistant Commissioners. Public iftar arrangements will not be allowed without registration.
