Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Barrister Gohar has said the party has received a positive signal from the government regarding medical treatment for party founder Imran Khan.
His reaction came in response to a message posted on X by Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar. Barrister Gohar said the government had conveyed a positive indication. He said the PTI had demanded that Imran Khan be shifted to a relevant hospital and examined by specialist doctors.
He said he hoped the demand would be acted upon without delay. A party representative would also be present during the process, he added. He expressed the hope that the government would demonstrate seriousness on this occasion.
Barrister Gohar said timely and proper treatment was the fundamental right of Imran Khan. He said he hoped there would now be no delay in matters concerning his health.
