In modern buildings, people often choose elevators over staircases to save time and avoid physical fatigue. But did you know where the world’s fastest elevator is located?
The world’s fastest elevator is installed at the CTF Finance Centre in Guangzhou, China. This ultra-high-speed elevator has earned a Guinness World Records title for its exceptional performance.
According to recorded data, the elevator can reach a speed of around 1,260 metres per minute, which is approximately 75.6 kilometres per hour. At this pace, it is significantly faster than elevators found in ordinary buildings.
Manufactured by the Japanese company Hitachi, the elevator travels up to a height of 440 metres. Its speed is comparable to that of a typical city car, making it one of the most remarkable feats of modern vertical transportation engineering.
