Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu reiterated his resolve to further enhance professional cooperation with the Libyan Air Force.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Libyan Armed Forces deputy commander-in-chief, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, visited the Air Headquarters. The Air Chief Marshal, Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, met Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, ISPR said. The meeting included an exchange of views on matters of mutual interest and the regional security situation, the ISPR added.
Discussions also covered possibilities for further strengthening bilateral military cooperation, according to the ISPR. The air chief stressed the development of multilateral capabilities, self-reliance, innovation and human resource development.
He reiterated his resolve to further enhance professional cooperation with the Libyan Air Force. The delegation was briefed on the PAF’s initiatives under the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park.
Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar praised the professional expertise of the Pakistan Air Force, the ISPR said. The Libyan deputy commander expressed keen interest in promoting joint training, exercises and professional exchanges.
