Kite flying has been banned in areas surrounding Lahore airport to ensure the safety of flight operations.
The ban applies to at least fifteen localities, including Taj Bagh, Bhatta Chowk, Nadirabad, Joray Pul and Canal Bank Road, where kite flying will not be permitted.
Restrictions have also been imposed in various blocks of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued formal instructions aimed at maintaining safe and uninterrupted flight operations.
