31 players in the Gold category have been retained as part of the players’ auction for PSL 11.
Key players from various teams will remain in their respective Gold category slots, ensuring continuity for the upcoming season. Islamabad United have retained four players in the Gold category – Azam Khan, Haider Ali, Salman Irshad and Rumman Raees.
From Lahore Qalandars, Zaman Khan, Jahandad Khan, Asif Ali and Asif Afridi remain in the Gold category. Karachi Kings have kept Khushdil Shah, Aamir Jamal, Irfan Khan Niazi, Mir Hamza, Zahid Mahmood, Omair Bin Yousuf, Shahnawaz Dahani and Arifar Minhas in the same category.
Multan Sultans have included Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Hasnain, Faisal Akram and Akif Javed in the Gold category. Peshawar Zalmi have retained Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Ali, Abdul Samad, Hussain Talat, Sufyan Muqeem, Ahmed Daniyal and Ihsanullah. Quetta Gladiators’ Khurram Shahzad, Haseebullah Khan, Khawaja Nafay and Hassan Nawaz are also listed among the Gold category players.
The PSL 11 players’ auction is scheduled to begin on 11 February, during which teams will finalise preparations and player selections. Cricket followers expect competitive fixtures this season, with retained Gold category players remaining central to their respective squads.
