Lahore’s district administration, in coordination with GPO authorities, has cracked down on the illegal supply of kites and kite string being transported through postal services across the city.
During the operations, officials seized multiple parcels containing kites, spools, and banned kite string, and arrested 24 individuals involved in the unlawful activity.
According to authorities, attempts to supply kites and string via postal services were thwarted in several areas, including Anarkali, Shahdara, Mughalpura, and Gulberg. Police teams conducted raids and took the suspects into custody while confiscating the prohibited material.
