Pakistan has expressed its resolve to further strengthen bilateral relations with Indonesia.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with the Indonesian ambassador, Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo. During the meeting, both sides discussed the promotion of bilateral cooperation in the exploration of minerals and oil and gas. The petroleum minister also invited Indonesia to participate in the Pakistan Minerals Forum.
Ali Pervaiz Malik said Pakistan was committed to further strengthening relations with Indonesia. He added that Pakistan’s minerals and exploration sector had vast potential.
He said Indonesian companies could enter into partnerships with Pakistani exploration and mineral companies.
The Indonesian ambassador said his country was keen to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in the minerals sector. He added that there were prospects for joint projects with Pertamina in oil and gas exploration.
