The results of the Intermediate Part I Science General Group examinations have been officially announced, marking a significant milestone for the city’s examination system with the introduction of e-marking for the mathematics paper.

According to the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, a total of 9,678 candidates successfully passed all six papers. The results reflect the performance of students who appeared in the Science General Group examinations.

Exam participation, registration

A total of 18,813 students participated in the Intermediate Part I Science General Group exams. Overall, 19,212 candidates had registered for the examinations, indicating a high level of student engagement this year.

For the first time in the history of Interboard Karachi, the mathematics paper was checked using an e-marking system. Interboard Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho confirmed that the paper was assessed through a modern digital process.

Lakho stated that the use of e-marking ensured transparency and improved the overall quality of the checking process. He emphasized that adopting modern assessment methods is a step toward strengthening trust in the examination system.
